House shoes are the answer to the dilema of whether or not to go barefoot indoors. It is true that shoes track dirt and microbes into the home. However, walking barefoot can spread fungus, bacteria and viruses from the skin. In addition good support can help prevent tendonitis and give shock absorption. Homes with extensive tile and hardwood tend to be the most bothersome to barefoot walkers. A good pair of slippers or a house shoe such as a supportive Vionic flip flop can prevent disease spread and keep feet happy :-)
